5 Steps To Become An Earning Affiliate..

In this article, I will attempt to lay the groundwork for a successful entry into the world of internet or affiliate marketing. The internet is one of the most amazing business opportunities to come about in the last 100 years.

With a little bit of knowledge, logic, some computer skills, sales ability and the will to do something, you can make money in this medium. How much you make, and at what pace are really up to you. The old saying of you reap what you sow, applies here.

I will give you 5 basic steps to take. Let's begin with...

1. The Plan: The most important thing that you must do is to plan. Anything worthwhile, has a well or not so well developed plan. Did you get married without a plan? Search for a job without a plan? Most had a plan be it big or small. I know that my wedding, career, and business ventures, were all well thought out, and planned. Develop your plan, and do your research. Ask yourself what are you interested in marketing. How successful have others been? How much time and money will you devout? Good news is that you DO NOT NEED A LOT OF MONEY. I unfortunately spent way too much when I did not need to. Do not spend more that $50.00, I will show you this later. Do not waste money on marketing, i.e. (Google-Ads, Yahoo, MSN) until you KNOW what you are doing.

2. Research: If you are reading this you are already doing step #2 already, congrats. Now take what you decided to pursue from step # 1. Take a look at products and services that you use and like. Go to their websites and see if they have affiliate opportunities. Amazon and Target have great programs. Did you know Amazon had 4,000,000 orders on ONE DAY in December, Wow!!

3. Finding like Minds: You will get a lot of flack from family and friends when embarking on your new adventure. Pay them no mind as most people do not want you to level them up, sad but true. There are few great websites that have many free tools and most importantly like minded ALREADY successful internet marketers who will help you. By finding your own mentors, I am giving the best advice I can give you. It will save you hours and ton's of money info is listed at the end.

4. Develop your Goals: Using the forums and tools write down realistic goals based on money, time and ability. Do not try to reinvent the wheel. Do what is tried and true. Create the plan and follow the plan.
