How to Become A Super Affiliate in Internet Marketing
by Nick DeStefano
There is no easier way to make money on the Internet than being an
affiliate for different companies or products. An affiliate is someone who
promotes a company or product and earn commission of each sale they refer.
Why is being an affiliate so popular? You don't need a website or have to
answer any sales questions or even give support after the sale of the
product. There are many ways to advertise as an affiliate such as placing a
banner on your website of the product you are promoting or even setting up
pay per click campaigns on major search engines to gain traffic.
All an affiliate has to worry about is monitoring their advertising
campaigns which can take as little as 20-30 minutes per day to manage your
ads. Affiliates can setup numerous campaigns for different products in all
types of niches. A niche for example is trying to market and focus on
selling a product in a particular market such as sporting goods, health
remedies, or even making money online. Setting up different niches allows
for less competition and therefore increasing sales.
There are many ways an affiliate can become a super affiliate. A super
affiliate is someone who consistently earns multiple commission sales on a
particular product everyday. This can be a full time job or a side income
depending on how much income is generated from being an affiliate. Listed
below are tips on how to become a super affiliate:
1. Find small niche products in a market where there is less competition.
This will allow you to advertise usually for less than higher competitive
products. You can usually find niches by doing a simple search online for
specific interests you have. For example, "How can you learn how to play the
guitar?" There is probably a website that you can promote and advertise this
small niche.
2. Research and test. Once you have found a niche you are interested in
advertising and promoting, find out if it can be a profitable market. For
instance, are people willing to pay money on learning how to play the
guitar? Probably. On the other hand, are people willing to pay for finding a
cure for snoring? Maybe, but more than likely there is a lot of free
information they can find by doing a simple search online.
3. Find high paying commissions for the products you promote. It's not
worth the time to promote a product that has less than $20 commission and
more than likely you will spend more on advertising than you make on sales
for a commission that low. If you can find products with commissions around
$30-50, that's usually average for a super affiliate and should convert
well. However if you want to promote a product that gives you $100
commission you can expect to have lower conversions, but that's okay because
you get $100 per sale or referral. They all add up in the end.
4. Monitor your advertising campaigns. The most popular way to quickly
setup and market your affiliate program is through pay per click search
engines. It's important to monitor this frequently to make sure your cost
per click on the keywords you are bidding on stay profitable. For instance,
you may have a very good ad position for several weeks, but new affiliates
start promoting the same product and outbid your ad position, which will
decrease your sales. It's important to always stay ahead of your competition
to survive as an affiliate.
5. Use multiple affiliate networks. Don't just limit yourself to one
affiliate network because this will only give you limited access to products
and services you can promote. By joining many affiliate networks you can
always see new products and services available to promote. Usually the new
affiliate programs are the ones you can really make good money with because
people may not know about them yet.
There are 25,000 full time super affiliates worldwide that make a very
good living just by using their computer to promote products and services
for other companies. Many super affiliates spend as little as 5-10 hours per
week once they are experienced in their markets they are promoting.
